Monorail Lighting by Nora is an award-winning rail-system that provides the latest in artistic, contemporary designs with no limits.Monorail is 120 volt line voltage rail system. Monorail Lights is UL and CUL listed. It does not require a transformer to run the system. Monorail can handle more than six times the wattage of a low voltage system, and accomplish almost unlimited distances without a voltage drop. Monorail Lighting system also allows for more common, inexpensive dimming controls. Monorail can be mounted close to, or suspended from a ceiling, structure, or vertical wall. It can run in a straight line, bend to a two foot circle, or create broad sweeping curves to follow the most intricate architectural design. An array of magnificent fixtures that accommodate GU10, Par and Bi-pin lamps in line voltage, an assortment of incredible low voltage fixtures that utilize AR111 or MR16 are available for your specific design needs. All can operate together on the line voltage monorail system. In addition, the new high-ouput fluorescent fixtures, HID and standard PAR are also available. All of these fixtures can interact on the same line voltage system to create unprecedented dynamics. With its swept lines, fine detailed die cast, silver or bronze finishes and glass accents, Monorail is ideal for a multitude of applications, and the capabilities are endless.
Monorail Lights system can accept up to 2400 watts as compared to a maximum of 300 watts on a standard low voltage system. Flexibility is the key.
